10 Business Buzzwords That Make My Brain Wander

and think WTF?

I know how these 10 words are used and what they mean in a business sense — but that will never stop my brain from going where it goes when it hears them!

So — in no special order……..my words!

1. Stakeholder

Sometimes, as with this word — the wandering is immediate. Maybe because I’ve read much about the Inquisition and witch hunts, lived in Massachusetts, been to Salem, etc. — the word only conjures up images like the one above. [Or worse.]

2. Funnel

My head sees a tool used in a lab, or one to change the oil in your car, or to pour olive oil, or make a funnel cake. I can’t help it, those were my uses of the word until it entered the marketing sphere.
