I did what I said I’d do

Your membership has been cancelled

You asked me why I was canceling and I sent you a link to this article — which I assume you never read.

And since I wrote that article, I am still getting so many bot accounts following me that I can only assume you are leaving the bots in your system to prove to people how many millions of readers you have.

The few who actually have posts on their pages are all sales links.

I am disappointed that you have been leaving the bots in your system, even though they were reported to you for weeks on end. But not anymore — I have better things to do you — can keep your bots — you just lost me. …

I’ve lost interest in you

Who are you?

What are you doing in my dreams?

What do you mean?

Actually, do you have any meaning?

If you do mean something, how will I know?

And then — what am I supposed to do about you?

Many questions.

Many thoughts.

Many answers.

Many interpretations.

be very careful…

I worked with women who were in abusive relationships when I was a therapist. I have taught courses on domestic and child abuse. I also worked in the field of child abuse — both as a psychologist and as an attorney.

The one thing I learned from reading, taking courses, attending seminars, and working with abused people is that when the abused decides to leave the relationship — that is the most dangerous point. It is when most of the abused are killed.

Abusers do not like their victims to leave them.

This is one reason why getting women [because it is usually women] out of the relationship is something that has to be planned ahead — secretly — and helping to get them away to a secure safe location. …

A bit of an intro to moi — and I’ll keep it short as I have lived a long time, and done a lot of stuff.

Born, raised, and educated in New York City — and yes, since you ask, I still sound like one of “those” New Yorkers. I got a great free education at Queens College thanks to “socialism.” I left New York for Boston “only” to get my Ph.D. as I had every intention of returning and living there for the rest of my life. But I fell in love with Boston and outdoor activities, and then with moving. I got that Ph.D. …

again/yet/still/forever

A certain American politician, whom I’ll call Donnie Boy [I do not write his full name] has told us he and his wife have tested positive for the Coronavirus and will be quarantined at the White House. This came after the announcement that Hope Hicks, a regular presence in his entourage, tested positive.

I have been pondering “what is it with me” as I read through emails about the “once-in-a-lifetime-you’ll-learn-so-much-from-these-experts-over-3-days-one-week-one-month-challenges-webinars-summits.”

I read the emails and I begin to think: “I feel I am missing something — maybe I ought to sign up.”

Let Me Count The Many New Ways

First I’ll say U.G.H.

Now that the sour taste is out of my mouth I can continue.

Over the years I have been a full-time and part-time professor at various universities, colleges, and community colleges — in person and online.

I have read a lot of student papers over that lifetime. I have seen many plagiarized papers over that lifetime. I got good at spotting them. When you're teaching and reading you get a feel for how a student writes and that helps when you see writing that is totally out of character.

A lot of that teaching was pre-Internet and it was hard to spot plagiarized material early in a semester as you had no idea yet of anyone’s writing style. But as a semester went on, and a student’s style changed from paper to paper — well questions were raised. …
