Cross Fired
the new “news” show
Last I looked at any updated news, it seems that both Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon got fired.
I was texting back-and-forth with my son about this because he's working and I was paying attention to what was going on [my newsworthy nosiness] and he came up with some really fun stuff — so I thought I'd take it and run with it.
I've most always been engaged in politics from all out protesting in the 60s and 70s to more [well sort of more] mellow protesting over the decades. And I have been reading the news all my life — at first in the form of papers and now online — and I think that's why I learned to read because all those great words were fun.
And of course, none of this changed after I had a kid, so he grew up in a very “we read all the news“ home. He now reads more news than I do.
Above is the first “page” of news apps on my phone. I change them out as I tire of them. I read posts on Twitter and as I have been there so long, I have a slew of journalists I follow. I also read and follow threads of news and comments — and of late — that has been…
