I Procrastinate!

And I Do It So Well

You might be asking: why is there a baseball graphic at the top of an article about procrastination? [I’ll get to that.]

In my head, when I start any project, I think about its future — i.e. publishing and marketing that project/product — because that’s necessary to get it “out there” to get sales — or reads.

My head goes:

maybe it’s not good enough to put out there yet

maybe people won’t like it

maybe it needs to be worked on a bit more

maybe it needs……..

And so back to baseball

I am a lifelong baseball fan — a used-to-be Yankee fan — who grew up with a diehard Bronx Yankee fan father. [I also love other sports — admittedly though, years in Boston turned me into a Red Sox fan.]

Good hitters in baseball have batting averages of about 300 — give or take. The last player to have a 400 average was Ted…
