Living Long Enough To Finally “Get” This

hey — I’m never too old to keep learning — again and again

A bit ago, I wrote the piece below and noted that I take longer to recuperate from anything that goes amiss.

But I still had to keep learning — even a few weeks later.

I'm writing this to let you know that no matter how much you think you know, you don't really “know.” And that’s okay!

I had an open air exposure to shrimp or some other crustacean while in a store. As that odor hit me, I scanned around to see what might be going on and thought I saw shrimp open to the air — so I left the area quickly.

As I continued shopping, I started feeling nauseous and I thought “oh shit here we go.” I have an allergy to crustaceans and I've learned…
