Every day for the past 2000+ days I have dictated into my computer what I call my morning mental meanderings.

This verbiage contains

  • thoughts about the day before
  • thoughts about the coming up day
  • how I feel
  • what and who I'm pissed at
  • musings about people and things that are driving me crazy
  • musings about people and things that are making me happy
  • anything else I feel like talking about
  • ideas for books, courses, and articles
  • rehashing my dreams
  • etc. etc. etc.

With apologies to Shakespeare — sanity sanity — all is my sanity.

I hate typing — so I use Google voice typing and yammer into Google Docs, save it into Scrivener, and then save it to a file.

I have a separate file for each year I have been doing this.
