Thank you for sharing this point of view. I almost always forget to put CTAs even where they belong :) they are just not my thing. I know, though, of several who preach putting CTAs on all Medium articles, and when I read those kinds of articles all I see are some words in the form of a short not-all-that-interesting article but — TADA!! — ending with sales pitches!
